Next week, we celebrate our TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY…but it’s business as usual this week on the Last Wave. Basketball, nightclubs, dungeon crawling, cigar AND coffee. New composers, old favorites, and the request line keeps ringing off the hook so keep those favorite jams pouring in and we’ll keep pumping them out.

Happy Halloween (belated! And while this show isn’t necessarily spooky, we offer a ton of sweet treats in the form of jams. Mostly sweet jams but sometimes bittersweet. Because love is a battlefield. We’re also a couple weeks away from the Last Wave’s two year anniversary so get ready to revisit some soundtracks from our second year. And keep on shipping out those requests…we’ve got a bit of a backlog but we’ll play your track, just hang on!

Another week, another half hour of jams. Lots of unknowns but the unknowns in life make things a little more interesting, less predictable. We’ve got a Perfect Stranger spinoff theme, walking pachi balls, TOEIC training guides, and even snickerdoodle cookie cakes, yum yum yum. If you keep listenin’, we’ll keep jammin’ out the jams!

Streets of Rage 4 came out last week, which is the first game I’ve been super excited about playing since Zelda: Breath of the Wild. My wife and I have been beatin’ thugs up and corrupt cops…and I love the fact that you can customize your food. My wife always seems to hit me with her special “on accident” and gulps down food at FULL HEALTH! Good grief…but the soundtrack has some jams that will definitely be making an appearance on the Last Wave, get ready.

What’s it like to fly for fun? I don’t know – ask a bird! But seriously, we venture from 18 holes to the ultimate sandtrap of the Sahara desert, pondering what high school would be like in a world full of monsters, and the emotions you get from High Scores and Staff Rolls. And of course, the Last Wave wouldn’t be complete without at least ONE naughty game soundtrack. Bonus content: we reveal Hammock’s dad’s top three video games of ALL TIME. Check it out.

Out of freedom? Well, at KVGM “The Last Wave”, YOU have the freedom…to listen to smooth video game jamz…and sad zoo freestyles…and talk about ’90s golf-centric sitcoms and bedtime and hanging out in towns with a few too many frozen margarita machines. And thanks again to the boys at XVGM Radio for having me over to the studio for a SUMMER JAMZ session! Be sure to check that out when it drops!

We’re well past our half-year anniversary and boss rushin’ straight for the big ONE. We’re clearing scenarios, riding camels, strollin’ right on down to the harbor lounge, where all our futbol dreams will likely die in a pint of ale. But let’s hope not – let’s hope for the best – that maybe one day, all of our futbol dreams will come true. Every single one of them. Or just the one, whichever. Stay positive, stay cool.
