KVGM “The Last Wave” (6/28/20)

Do you hear that sound? Can you feel it? The cool ocean breeze in your hair, the salt on your tongue. It’s the smooth crash of the Last Wave on KVGM with your host, Hammock, bringing you thirty minutes of the best video game jams(z) from all your favorite composers and consoles, each and every week from our beachside studio on sunny Aqua City Island. Sit back, relax, and get ready to catch…the Last Wave.

Welcome back! We revisit the restaurant, Pia Carrott, for some romance in and out of the kitchen, we visit a hunter academy for…monster hunters? And, of course, we wine and dine with the help of a little Nintendo DS game. It’s a show full of emotion, so wear your heart on your sleeve and sip on these fine sweetberry jams.

This week, we’ve got vampire romance, Yuzo Koshiro clubbin’ it up, fast food delivery, and hanafuda, plus butt battles on the beach and Peter Park starring in Saved by the Bell. If none of that makes sense to you, listen to the show…because it’s chock full of sweet and sour jams. I’ve also got some ideas brewing for some possible mini-episodes somewhere down the line…I don’t, maybe a Patreon exclusive type situation but then again, you shouldn’t have to pay for smooth video game music. HAPPY DAD DAY!

It’s heating up out there so keep cool with some chill jams. We’re hitting the fundamentals of smooth – mahjong parlors, bass fishing, and dating simulators. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to rate and review the show on iTunes – it really helps us out. And if you have, thank you so much! Some very kind reviews have been written and that means a lot to us! If there’s anything we can do to improve your listening experience, let us know right here on the website, or send us an e-mail at kvgmradio@gmail.com.

No matter your circumstances, there are plenty of ways to support and provide aid to everyone in your community fighting for equity in America. Protestors are in need of supplies like food, water, first aid kits, and more. In addition to donating directly to bail funds (the National Bail Fund Network), you can help out your local black-owned businesses and restaurants – Bon Appétit has compiled a great list by city.
