KVGM “The Last Wave” (7/28/19)

Do you hear that sound? Can you feel it? The cool ocean breeze in your hair, the salt on your tongue. It’s the smooth crash of the Last Wave on KVGM with your host, Hammock, bringing you thirty minutes of the best video game jams(z) from all your favorite composers and consoles, each and every week from our beachside studio in sunny Aqua City Island. Sit back, relax, and get ready to catch…the Last Wave.

Out of freedom? Well, at KVGM “The Last Wave”, YOU have the freedom…to listen to smooth video game jamz…and sad zoo freestyles…and talk about ’90s golf-centric sitcoms and bedtime and hanging out in towns with a few too many frozen margarita machines. And thanks again to the boys at XVGM Radio for having me over to the studio for a SUMMER JAMZ session! Be sure to check that out when it drops!

Is Legend of the River King really the fishing RPG of my dreams? If so, please let us know – right here in the comments. Also, if you paid hard cash for the Lasabirdie: Get in the Hole set-up for the Super Famicom – let us know, right here in the comments, how much your golf game improved. Bubble gum toothpaste, chilling lakeside and beachside, ultimate wooden block parties, and of course, mahjong tables. All that, plus more, on this week’s show. Oh, and be sure to check out Hammock’s guest appearance on XVGM Radio – bring sunscreen!

We’re well past our half-year anniversary and boss rushin’ straight for the big ONE. We’re clearing scenarios, riding camels, strollin’ right on down to the harbor lounge, where all our futbol dreams will likely die in a pint of ale. But let’s hope not – let’s hope for the best – that maybe one day, all of our futbol dreams will come true. Every single one of them. Or just the one, whichever. Stay positive, stay cool.

Battling a cold is never fun and sometimes the cold gets the better of you but you let it have its moment and then you move on (see episode). But when you’ve got the better of the cold, it’s all right! Life’s a beach, the afternoons are shinier, the mahjong is mahjongin’ and you maybe you take a step back and say, “Gun-DAMN, it’s good to be alive!”.
