Another week, another half hour of jams. Lots of unknowns but the unknowns in life make things a little more interesting, less predictable. We’ve got a Perfect Stranger spinoff theme, walking pachi balls, TOEIC training guides, and even snickerdoodle cookie cakes, yum yum yum. If you keep listenin’, we’ll keep jammin’ out the jams!

We’re one week away from our special 100th episode extravaganza, featuring some very special guests, but this week…it’s business as usual as we check in with some of our favorite composers, including Akira Sato, Katsuhiro Hayashi and Yumi Kinoshita. And of course, it wouldn’t be the Last Wave without a little naughty visual novel action. Good grief.

This week’s show covers the full range of emotions, from the down-on-your-luck blues to the excitement of adult mahjong, to the victory of landing that bigmouth bass, to a little dad rock out session to get you pumped for BASEBALL! Lots of unknowns as well but it doesn’t stop us from enjoying the jams. Jam on, player. Jam on.

This week, Aqua City looked like a scene from Mad Max 2 due to high winds blowing in smoke and ash from nearby wildfires. But even as the year 2020 continues to be an obvious sign of the apocalypse, we sit back and enjoy some very chill music from racing, bowling, basketball, and Miami drunk singles action. Which leather pants are YOUR favorite? Sound off on the website, or send us an e-mail at kvgmradio@gmail.com with a link to the perfect pair of leather pants for those steamy Miami club nights.

Do know what September 6th is? It’s Hammock’s birthday! The Last Wave doesn’t always correspond with birthdays but come celebrate by jamming out to some great fishing and horse racing tracks. How about a little dodgeball action from the one and only Katsuhiro Hayashi, who personally called the KVGM studio to wish Hammock a “ハッピーバースデー!”. The Wii even threw us a party…a Wii Party…what a treat.

What’s inside? How about the NBA circa 1997? How about sexy parlor games from a professional music library? What about 4 on 4 soccer? Hey, there’s even a little murder mystery and water skiing. And it wouldn’t be an episode of the Last Wave without some visual novel nonsense on the PC. And making their Last Wave debut, the very talented ASSY! AND…AND…you guys asked for it (well, some of you) but we now have KVGM “The Last Wave” merch, available here. It’s still summer so give those guns some Vitamin D!
