KVGM "The Last Wave" (4/18/21)

Do you hear that sound? Can you feel it? The cool ocean breeze in your hair, the salt on your tongue. It's the smooth crash of the Last Wave on KVGM with your host, Hammock, bringing you thirty minutes of the best video game jams(z) from all your favorite composers and consoles, each and every week from our beachside studio in sunny Aqua City Island. Sit back, relax, and get ready to catch...the Last Wave.

This episode is dedicated to long-time listener and support of the Last Wave, Vin Diesel. We've got not one but TWO street racing tracks, and an unused Virtua Cop track (because Vin played a cop in A Man Apart). But for the non-Vin listeners, we've got Snoopy and friends, soccer, dating simulator action, and, of course, a very patriotic handheld quiz game.

Comments

  1. Thank you, Hammock, for sharing my special request. I always try to pick what I personally think are relaxing songs. I felt Sirens Beach fit the mood perfectly for a Mario stage set in a sunset by the beach.

  2. Hammock, I enjoyed the subtle reference to Aqua City University being "of course home of the Windjammers." The aesthetic fits perfectly. Love that game and really enjoy this podcast!
